Company Overview
Integrity Applications has developed a non-invasive blood glucose monitor.
The device utilizes a patented combination of ultrasonic, electromagnetic
and thermal technologies to measure three distinct criteria to
provide an accurate blood glucose measurement.
GlucoTrack enables diabetics (Type 1 and 2) to
measure their blood glucose levels without drawing blood. A small
sensor clips comfortably to the ear lobe while blood glucose level is
calculated using a proprietary algorithm and displayed on a companion
small, portable unit which can be fastened to one's belt.
GlucoTrack removes the two most significant
barriers to frequent monitoring of blood glucose by diabetics: pain
(the device is non-invasive) and cost (no disposables required). GlucoTrack
is able to measure blood glucose both at discrete moments (Spot
Measurement) and on a continuous basis (in next generation devices),
making it the right solution for a wide range of diabetic patients.
All diabetics would benefit from a device that does not require them to
prick their finger or draw blood, and caregivers for premature infants,
pediatric and elderly patients will also immediately recognize the
importance and appeal of the device's non-invasive nature.
Integrity Applications'
prototype, Alpha and Beta site devices of GlucoTrack have been proven safe and effective for patients in practical tests, conducted under the
supervision of leading diabetes authorities at the Soroka University
Medical Center.
Integrity Applications is preparing to bring GlucoTrack
to the market in 2012.
Integrity Applications Ltd. is based in
Ashkelon, Israel. Founders and employees bring a wide range of
engineering, technology background, design and management skills to the
